In januari 2021 werd in Rotterdam Nederland opgericht MGC Specialty Chemicals Netherlands B.V. (MSCN) door de Japanse chemie producent Mitsubishi Gas Chemical Co., Ltd. (MGC).<\/p>

In september 2021 besloot MGC om de productie en verkoop van MXDA in licentie te geven aan MSCN en een nieuwe MXDA-Plant in Botlek Rotterdam te bouwen<\/p>

MXDA, een grondstof welke o.a. gebruikt wordt in coatings en epoxy, in Japan in 2 manufacturing Plants t.w. in Niigata en Mizushima, geproduceerd. Echter, vanwege de toenemende hoge vraag naar MXDA, zou de huidige productie capaciteit niet voldoende zijn om aan de marktvraag in 2024 e.v. te kunnen voldoen. Om die reden besloot MGC een nieuwe MXDA-Plant te bouwen om de productie capaciteit uit te breiden. <\/p>\n

In het selectieproces voor de lokatie onderzocht en overwoog MGC verschillende werelddelen en landen zoals Noord-Amerika, Zuidoost-Azi\u00eb en Europa en Japan. Na diepgaand onderzoek koos MGC uiteindelijk voor Rotterdam. De Europese markt heeft de grootste vraag naar MXDA. Deze vraag is stabiel, aanhoudend, en effici\u00ebnt qua logistiek en transport voor de aanvoer van diverse belangrijke grondstoffen. <\/p>\n

In 2021 is in Nederland, Botlek Rotterdam, het \u201cXA-1 Project\u201d van start gegaan en in 2026 zal de commerci\u00eble exploitatie van start gaan met een nieuwe MXDA-fabriek<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
